Account Executive – Cloud Security – US East Coast Remote

The Role:

  • Current sales team consists of a sales rep on the West Coast and an AE in the UK.

  • 100% new business development, win and retain. You can keep the accounts and take care of renewals.

  • Territory is the East Coast. You will own this region.

  • Identify opportunities, manage the full sales cycle. Develop your territory pipeline.

  • Ideal customer profile – B2B SaaS cloud-native

  • Sell to CISOs, DevOps, Security leaders

  • They have two outbound SDRs who are working part-time, 15 hours/ week each/ going after accounts and researching the right people and hit them up.

  • Sold marketing engine that generates leads.

  • Very good SE team who will help to sell – use MEDDPIC, they do demos, PoCs

  • Do your own automation with Hubspot, reaching out to mature MQLS, do events, dinners, engage with customers, build relationships.

  • Average sale price is $38,000 with an average sales cycle length of 60 – 90 days.

  • You will do a mix of both of these deals.

  • Quota for a fully ramped rep is $60,000 for the year.

  • You need to be based on the East Coast, ideally Northeast. NYC would be perfect.

  • Report into the VP Global Sales – based on the West Coast.

What You’ll Get:

  • $130,000 - $150,000 base, double OTE
