Business Development Manager

​The Role:

  • You will be a Business Development Manager based in Bideford office

  • Calling through our large database of prospects to find new leads.

  • Following up on inbound leads.

  • Taking prospects through an effective and consultative sales process.

  • Presenting and demonstrating the software to prospects either via online video call or face to face meeting.

  • Following the full sales cycle from Prospect to Customer.

  • Training the new customers either online or face to face.

  • Liaising with other departments and key managers within the business.

  • Keeping up to date with new updates and developments within the industry

The Company:

  • A specialist SaaS provider of Document Management Solutions

  • This is one of the first sales roles as part of the companies brand new office expansion into Devon

  • You will be working with an inspirational sales leader with proven experience of successfully selling this solution for a number of years

  • The company is entirely self funded by the Founders, who are fully invested in the growth and success of the organisation

  • The business partner with TCTL, the market leading providers of software to the IP and Business Recovery profession

  • They also partner with Practice Engine Practice Management, whose software is used by some of the largest accountancy firms around the world

  • As a Registered Microsoft Partner they have access to information and briefings to help ensure the company is kept up-to-date with the latest releases of Windows, Server and Office software.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to multi task and prioritise your own workload.

  • Experience with solution selling, driving the full sales cycle.

  • Proven success working in a target driven environment

  • Strong relationship builder with exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Proven negotiation skills with a clear understanding of an effective consultative sales process.

What You’ll Get:

  • Competitive base salary up to £30,000 dependent on experience.

  • Commission - Realistic OTE + £22,000 with uncapped earning potential.
