Business Development Manager

The Role

  • New business role in Manchester

  • Respond to inbound leads generated by the SDR team

  • Close deals

  • Sit client demos and generate new business opportunities

  • FCA-regulated insurance experience

  • Self-generate opportunity through social selling and prospect/client referrals

  • Update our CRM with relevant prospects' data

  • Achieving targets and business objectives in a fully compliant manner

  • To engage and communicate professionally with decision-makers at a senior level

  • Joining 200-person company with processes and structure in place, however, their brand is very well known in the UK and respected as leader within Tech - you can progress very quickly!

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Located in or around Manchester (5 days a week in office)

  • Hunger to build pipeline and accelerate sales in a fast-growing market

  • Software sales experience

  • Proven experience in multi-stage negotiation processes

  • Ability to build business cases adapted to each prospect’s scenario

  • Persuasive attitude and high negotiating and closing ability

  • Proactivity and autonomy to achieve and exceed targets

  • Discipline to follow a sales process and feed our internal CRM.
