Content Marketer - Technical SaaS

The Role:

  • This role came about through expansion as the company scales aggressively

  • Your responsibilities include planning, writing, and editing of copy, as well as working closely with a designer.

  • Creating blog posts, research reports, white papers, articles, web pages, landing pages, video scripts, social media posts, newsletters, ad copies, and more.

  • Helping the company maintain a consistent and compelling narrative, style, and brand voice, with all the good SEO considerations.

  • Tracking, testing, and refining content across channels.

  • Developing and managing a content calendar.

  • Leading organic content distribution efforts across different channels including social, email, web, media and community forums.

  • Supporting PR with press releases, executive talking points, media briefs, and other types of external communications.

  • Remote based role in Europe or US East Coast

  • Early stage start-up founded by serial entrepreneurs with lots of experience building successful companies

  • The founders have solid relationships in the industry as well as with VC companies

  • Series B funded - their investors are well-known and reputable VCs

  • They only started selling 6 months ago and have closed 12 customers already

  • Huge market potential and addressable market as their solution is sold to any company in any industry

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years writing technical content in technical B2B SaaS companies

  • You are a story-teller who is curious about technology

  • You are tech savvy and able to quickly understand technological concepts and break them down in to layman's terms

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of SEO/ content distribution channels - social, email, forums, PR

  • Ability to partner effectively with engineers, sales teams, designers and other marketers

  • Ideally a start-up background
