Content Marketing Lead

The Role:

Content

  • Content research, planning and development focused on industry trends, emerging topics, personas, product releases and latest news.

  • Content creation including website copy, videos, news articles, case studies, blogs, white papers and reports, webinars and much more!

  • Marketing Communications & Campaigns

  • Create relevant content to engage prospects and customers at different stages of the buying journey through all channels.

  • Work with the SEO team to ensure that web copy is both well written and well optimised helping us to get clicks and conversions.

PR & Social

  • Help develop our PR approach making sure we get the right messages out at the right time in the right places.

  • Work with in-house and external agency to deliver PR activity resulting in positive, on message coverage in relevant channels.

  • Manage our Social Media activity ensuring engagement, reach and follower growth which ultimately translate into business results (leads and sales)

General

  • Recruit, lead and mentor a happy, high-performing content team

  • Improve reporting on content performance and provide insight on what content works best and why

  • Work with the wider marketing team on other initiatives as required

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong experience within a content marketing role in SaaS with a proven track record

  • Excellent written English with the ability to write engaging, creative copy across a variety of formats

  • Able to analyse and draw insights from different data sets and tell a compelling story

  • Ability to research and gather data and insights from a variety of sources

  • Able to spot and capitalise on news and content opportunities in a fast-moving environment

  • Understand SEO and be able to incorporate SEO strategy into content development

  • Lots of energy and the drive to get things done

  • Ability to embrace and adapt to change

  • A diligent approach, with a passion for what you do, and the work you produce

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Brownie points for professional experience with Google Analytics, LinkedIn and Twitter

 What You’ll Get:

  • Salary of up to £65,000 plus 20% bonus

  • Quarterly bonus plan

  • 20 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) increasing to 26 over time
