Director of Sales

​The Role

  • This is a Director of Sales role focusing on their newest product line

  • The team are focused on new business but can upsell/cross-sell into other areas. You will need strong collaboration skills to do this cross functionally working with the other business units/product lines

  • The team is currently 3 AE’s and 2 SDRs with plans to double headcount

  • Once accounts are won, they are passed to Customer Success

  • You should be based from New York in the office 2 days a week for this role once things are back to normal

  • Right now, there is no outbound, but this will be something that increases as the team grows

The Company

  • Exciting Pre-IPO SaaS start up in the eCommerce space. They are the market leader.

  • They have raised over $200million in funding so far and they are growing 50% year over year

  • If successful this could grow into a 2nd line management role

  • Equity is included for the right candidate as they head towards an exit

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3 years in 1st line management role for SaaS businesses. Can potentially grow into 2nd line in the future but this needs to be hands on

  • MUST have carried a bag before.

  • Ideally MarTech/Ecommerce SaaS.

  • Ideally a usage based product like email, SMS or push notifications.

  • You should be able to thrive in ambiguity, be fast moving, hyper growth and excited about an exit/acquisition prospect

  • You should have inbound and outbound experience

What You’ll Get

  • Basic: $160,000-$170,000. OTE: $120,000
