Events Coordinator

​The Role:

  • Support the planning and execution of multiple events and exhibitions throughout the year

  • Own the programme of local exhibitions and manage the budget

  • Support every aspect of an event from venue choice and visits to collateral, merch, and logistics

  • Complete event tasks that meet important deadlines and stay on track with timelines

  • Have a complete understanding of the requirements needed for each event or conference

  • Research, manage and hire suppliers and make selections based on creativity, quality, and cost

  • Work with venues, teams involved such as Sales, Marketing or Customer Experience and communicate with guests attending

  • Ability to develop content for event materials and work with creatives and designers to produce supporting print, collateral etc.

  • Day-to-day administration of events program including placing orders, managing vendors, travel planning, restaurant reservations, facilitating company attendees, monitoring registration, tracking RSVPs, answering questions, and resolving issues.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree or equivalent in events management or similar

  • Relevant experience in event planning or event coordination

  • Track record of creative and successful events

  • Experience coordinating people and working with teams such as marketing, graphic design, sales

  • Excellent organisational, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Great communication skills and confidence when in client-facing situations
