HR Manager US - SaaS - Texas

The Role

  • Manage a small team in the US and grow the HH function further

  • You will provide expertise to the business in career planning, performance management, compensation, learning and development, employee relations and recognition programs

  • Collaborate with managers across the business and work with them on timelines for hiring to help expand the business quickly

  • Support the company’s culture and engagement goals through identification of issues, facilitation of planning solutions, and reporting progress

  • Ensure consistent interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures, practices, and principles relating to employee relations and risk management; counselling and advising management while recommending approaches to prevent/resolve problems

  • Work closely with the global HR Team on projects and programs that focus on engagement, culture, policy, and process development

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance

  • You need to be based in Austin and would be expected in the office 2-3 days per week. The team you will take over is also based in Austin.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years HR experience in high-growth companies

  • 3+ years experience supporting senior business leaders in organisation design and talent management

  • Experience in benefits, payroll, and HRIS administration

  • Understanding of employment laws and employee relations

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity

  • Ability to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and develop recommendations and solutions that meet the needs of the employee as well as the company

  • Ability to understand employee opinions, monitor the effect of business decisions on people, and advise leaders and managers on addressing employee concerns

  • Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a multicultural environment
