Presales Engineer

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for supporting the sales team with technically with new and existing customers.

  • You will understand business pains and translate into technical requirements.

  • You will also be supporting a multi-million dollar client who are in the top 10 of the Fortune 500.

  • You will be guiding prospects to understand the value proposition through effective storytelling.

The Company:

  • Pre IPO, Series C - about to close another round of funding!

  • Disruptive Data platform with few competitors that enables businesses to evolve from big data analytics to fast data decisions.

  • Backed by leading investors, one who sold his own business to Oracle for $7BN!

  • Leaders have also scaled other Data businesses and taken them to acquisition.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years customer facing experience within the Data Integration, Warehousing or Analytics space.

  • Must have experience with Java and SQL.

  • Kubernetes experience is a nice to have!

What You’ll Get:

  • $125,000-$140,000 base salary plus $25,000 bonus

  • Substantial stock options which should equate to a full years OTE when they sell!

Process:

  • 1st stage – call with Director Global Field Engineering

  • 2nd stage – call with one of the team

  • 3rd stage – Final stage with CPO and Global SVP sales
