Presales Engineer US

The Role:

  • Support the US sales team, currently 5 reps

  • Sell to large financial services organisations including banks, credit unions and credit card companies.

  • Understand customer requirements

  • Answer to RFPs and RFIs, run with POCs, present to clients

  • Run with educational workshops on the product and delivery

  • Average deal size is $500,000 ARR with an average sales cycle of 6 – 12 months.

  • Remote based role from anywhere in US

 The Company:

  • FinTech scale-up with 350 people globally, looking to grow to 415 by the end of 2022. They are growing across all departments.

  • Closed $300M in investment to date across different rounds, last year they raised $160M

  • Their investors are a mix of VCs and private equity firms as well as two of their customers have also invested in the company

  • The founders have gone through a successful exit with their previous company

  • None of their clients ever left them.

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Presales around AI/ ML – customer-facing experience

  • Ideally sold to financial services organisations

  • Ability to work remotely and independently

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or other relevant experience or education

  • Excellent communicator and presenter, well-spoken, organised

  • Conversational ability around high-level topics in architecture, analytics, Linux, Java, SQL
