Solutions Engineer

​The Role:

  • First SE hire for the company in the US. They have an SE in Israel so far.

  • The role is 70% technical, 30% sales

  • In this role, you will take customers from the first introduction of the product, through deploying, to successfully running their business on it.

  • This is a critical role that serves as a trusted technical advisor to their customers.

  • You'll partner with their customers on onboarding, consulting on best practices, and increasing overall adoption.

  • Perform technical discovery and gather requirements from prospects and customers

  • Master the platform to prove the technical feasibility and demonstrate value for highly technical developer audiences

  • Lead POC implementations and establish technical success criteria

  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and technical champions

  • Communicate customer feedback and perspectives to appropriate teams to be considered for future product strategy

  • Contribute to internal knowledge repositories and build technical documentation to support sales efforts

  • Provide comprehensive onboarding support and technical guidance for feature adoption

  • Provide customer experience management, technical guidance, and best practices as the subject matter expert in our product

  • This role is 100% remote and you can be based from anywhere in the Eastern Time zone.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years experience as a customer-facing Solution Engineer or Solutions Architect

  • Experience working in one or more of the major cloud IaaS platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

  • Experience with Docker or some orchestration platform (Kubernetes - MUST / Mesos / ECS / Nomad / Swarm / OpenShift)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Start-up experience

  • Ideally you were a developer or system engineer in the past
