Technical Sales Representative

The Role:

  • As a Technical Sales Representative you will play a key role in supporting pre-sales activities through quote creation, lead generation and opportunity management, you will manage incoming enquiries and assist the sales throughout the sales lifecycle.

  •  Looking after existing customers, you will work to develop new ones, support marketing campaigns and manage the lead creation process.

  •  You’ll help create and manage bids, proposals and systems quotes, manage and maintain sales tools (we use Salesforce). You’ll be communicating technical information to clients and across the business and supporting all sales activity to progress the sales process.

 You will also:

  • Monitor and chase lead times

  • Ensure sales targets are met

  • Contribute through collaboration and knowledge-sharing

  • Assist with customer interaction

  • Help maintain the CRM database

  • Manage sales campaigns

  • Qualify and follow-up leads

  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline

  • Produce sales pipeline forecast reports

 The Company:

  • The company is a leading provider of Data Infrastructure, this can include both soft and hardware. With over 30 years of experience in their field, they know how to develop sales talent.

  • The US and UK position that have been opened up are due to backfilling internal promotions. The company are big believers in progression within and will support that journey.

  • Due to the nature of the target audience, cold calling is not used as a primary source of outreach.

  • This role is more geared towards someone with strategic outreach capabilities.

  • The role will include a lot of liaising with the Marketing & Lead Generation function in order to best win over interest.

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • 12-18 months SDR experience in Tech

  • Based on the East Coast

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoominfo

  • Sold to Financial Services or the Public Sector? Even better!

 What You’ll Get:

  • $65,000 - $70,000 base with an OTE of $30,000

  • 25 days of holiday excluding public holidays (rising to 28 with service)

  • 2nd with Sales Director UK & Sales Director (Public Sector)
