Job Title: VP Marketing– SaaS – US East Coast or Central

 

The Role:

  • This is a VP Marketing role owning the Marketing organisation as well as the SDR organisation

  • The team is currently 6 in size in Marketing with another 8 in the SDR team including an SDR Manager. The plan will be to grow this to 11.

  • Your focus will be on demand generation, building a function to generate leads

  • They have a remote first policy so you should be comfortable working remote and managing a remote team

  • You will be responsible for everything related to the Marketing and SDR organisation but will need to work closely with the other Executive leaders, especially the CRO

  • Companies they target are cross vertical but typically over 200 employees in size

  • You should be remote in the US ideally on ET or CT to communicate with the team in EMEA

 

The Company:

  • Fast growth start up in the HR space

  • They are Series B funded having raised $25m in August 2022. This was following a Series A of $15m in September 2021. They had a much higher ARR than is typical for this stage.

  • They were in the Top 100 early stage companies to work for 2022

  • G2 made them a Leader and a Higher Performer for Fall 2022

  • They are trying to grow 2-3X a year

  • They are currently around $8m-$10m in ARR. The plan would be to grow to $20m-$30m in ARR by the end of 2023

  • The Executive team has a lot of experience and success – Their CMO is a 6x CMO and the VP Product was at 2 unicorns

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Grown with a start up from $10m-$30m/$50m

  • Must have very strong demand generation experience

  • At least the number 1 or 2 ranked in the business

  • Must be from the SaaS space

  • You should be hands on, collaborative and coachable


What You’ll Get:

  • Salary of up to $210,000 plus Bonus, Equity & Healthcare
